ode to beeker

Beeker, is by far my favorite muppet.  Here’s my two favorite clips that never fail to crack me up.  Use when stressed, unhappy, or going a little nutty.

at-work song

I have a baseball boyfriend.  I actually have many boyfriends, one for each professional sport I’m interested in (except bowling.  I love bowling but I’m sorry, the men don’t get my libido pumping).

So yesterday, I attended the Giants game with my buddies and I could not shut up about my baseball boyfriend, Randy Winn and asking ridiculous questions.

heart for the winn-ster

this was only one of the antics i pulled off that game

Can players choose whether or not to have socks over their pants?  (yes!)  How many people does it take for them to drag out the hose and use it to spray the field down?  (about 6)  What is up with Brian Wilson’s haircut?  (no answer).  In the midst of it all, I noticed that each player for the home team had a little song play before they came up to bat.  Pablo Sandoval had “I Know You Want Me” by Pitbull and Randy had “Universal Mind Control” by Common (I highly recommend!).  This got me thinking.

What if I had an at-work song? Something that played at 9 AM when my shift starts.  I’m thinking a program like this, an alarm clock program that can hook up to iTunes on MacDaddy.  (It beats carrying a boombox on my shoulder to the office)  On further thought, I’m not so sure because:

a) If I’m on PTO and I leave my computer on, logged in, and locked, they’ll have to hard shut down my computer to get it to stop playing.
b) I accidentally leave my speakers on blast
c) A menehune comes along and tampers with my iTunes to play something ridiculous like “Under the Sea” or “Birthday Sex”.  None of which I had in my library, but it could happen.

The next problem is finding a good song.  The execution is pretty easy but what to put as my at-work song.  Any suggestions?
